My ride-share car: Maryam's only way to earn a living

Without my ride-share car Maryam can't work; a $150 repair would put her back on the road.

I make my living with my ride-share car. 12 weeks ago the clutch assembly failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $150. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal. Where the $150 goes: • Road tax and insurance renewal: $35 • clutch assembly replacement (parts): $110 • Towing and inspection: $5 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Good luck, Maryam. Hope the shop reopens soon. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. All the best.
