I make my living with my ride-share car. 12 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,850. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update. Where the $1,850 goes: • transmission replacement (parts): $1,250 • Labor charges: $400 • Road tax and insurance renewal: $115 • Towing and inspection: $85 Glad we found this place. - Caoimhe

Updates from Caoimhe

  1. Good news. Because of your gifts ($11 in total) I made the first payment toward transmission replacement. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
