My motorbike: Chihiro's only way to earn a living
Without my motorbike Chihiro can't work; a $1,150 repair would put her back on the road.

I make my living with my motorbike. 7 weeks ago the gearbox failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,150. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $1,150 goes:
• gearbox replacement (parts): $770
• Labor charges: $120
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $135
• Towing and inspection: $125
With deep gratitude,
Chihiro

Sending good thoughts, Chihiro. Looking forward to the next update. My neighbor in Aurangabad donated after I showed her your page. Blessings
Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Chihiro!
Sending strength, Chihiro. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. After 29 years in farming I know how hard it is to ask for anything
take care, Chihiro. Shared this with my family. I'll check back for the next update. All the best.
Small businesses are the heart of Tokyo. Hope you're open again soon. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. God bless
hope it all works out, Chihiro. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up.
Keep going. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Greetings from Tarragona
Hang in there, Chihiro. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Love from Hồ Chí Minh City.
