My food truck: Tyler's only way to earn a living
Tyler drives for a living in Leeds, and a broken transmission has stopped all income for 3 weeks.

I make my living with my food truck. 3 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,350. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $1,350 goes:
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $180
• transmission replacement (parts): $870
• Labor charges: $300
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Small businesses are the heart of Leeds. Hope you're open again soon. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. All the best
Small businesses are the heart of Leeds. Hope you're open again soon. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Blessings.
