I make my living with my food truck. 12 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $100. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my younger brothers and sisters. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal. Where the $100 goes: • Road tax and insurance renewal: $25 • Labor charges: $70 • Towing and inspection: $5 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself. - Orlando

Updates from Orlando

Good news. Because of your gifts ($80 in total) the plan for road tax and insurance renewal is now scheduled. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
Small update. $60 so far, I made the first payment toward road tax and insurance renewal.
Thank you all. We're at 80% now ($80). I'm honestly stunned. I met with the mechanic and confirmed the amounts.
