Baobab Primary School needs a solar-powered water pump - Tamanna's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a solar-powered water pump - we need $350 for materials.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a solar-powered water pump. This year a group of 26 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Baobab Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $60, and the remaining cost is $350.
It will serve about 190 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $350 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $35
• Materials: $250
• Tools hire and delivery: $65
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.
