My delivery van: Rodrigo's only way to earn a living
Rodrigo's my delivery van is Rodrigo's only source of income and needs a clutch assembly replacement costing $650.
🇪🇸 Valencia, Valencian Community, Spain1,855 views
I make my living with my delivery van. 6 weeks ago the clutch assembly failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $650. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $650 goes:
• clutch assembly replacement (parts): $420
• Towing and inspection: $60
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $170
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. It's not much but it's yours. Thinking of Valencia.
It takes guts to ask. Well done. Wish I lived closer to Chicago so I could bring a meal. God bless
wishing you peace. Hope the shop reopens soon. Don't give up. Blessings.
