Moving day volunteers: Oliver's family relocating in Sacramento
A short, concrete way to help: a few hours of lifting and loading in Sacramento.

After the rent increase, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Sacramento, and the lease starts on Monday. I have a teenager and a toddler, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for a few strong people for about four hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the third floor with no elevator and the new place has a ground-floor entrance. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.
Thank you so much.

Take care. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I'm in engineering myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you.
Thinking of you and your family. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day!
Wishing you the best. Looking forward to the next update. Love from Bellevue.
