Moving day volunteers: Eun-kyung's family relocating in Seattle
A short, concrete way to help: a few hours of lifting and loading in Seattle.

After the rent increase, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Seattle, and the lease starts on Sunday. I have two children, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for a few strong people for about four hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the second floor and the new place has an elevator. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Wishing you the best, Eun-kyung. Shared it with a few friends. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Blessings
Thinking of you, Eun-kyung. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Sent it to 39 people at work.
Thanks for sharing this, Eun-kyung. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. Blessings.
