Keep the water on at Bea's home in Manila
Bea is behind on water bills after an unexpected car repair and needs $100 to avoid a shut-off.
🇵🇭 Philippines1,346 views
The water account is 2 months behind. Bea received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on October unless $100 is paid. She had never been late before an unexpected car repair.
Bea called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $15 first, which isn't available.
The household includes a disabled brother, and going through summer without water isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
Bea is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
Every dollar goes to the account in Bea's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.
Where the $100 goes:
• Heating arrears: $70
• Reconnection and late fees: $20
• Down payment on a payment plan: $10
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Wishing you peace, Patricia. I hope things turn around soon. My neighbor in Depok donated after I showed her your page. All the best
good luck. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. Thinking of Manila
Keep going, Patricia. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. God bless
Good luck. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Thinking of Manila
