I'm caring for my father, who's 96. After a diagnosis of dementia Moin can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Moin desperately wants to stay at home. I work 25 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer. Moin worked all of his life as a nurse, and raised 5 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back. Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for eight months will make a huge difference. Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies. Quick update: $285 raised so far (52%). I met with the care agency and confirmed the amounts. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
