Aurangabad
Pranav was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in August. The oncology team at Aurangabad Cancer Centre has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in October. He will be away from work for about 8 weeks. Pranav is 48, worked as a bank teller until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Aurangabad Cancer Centre 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $1,200 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $500 • Scans and lab work: $110 • Transport to Aurangabad Cancer Centre: $95 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $95 • Household costs while unable to work: $400 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
