Manal lives with multiple sclerosis. The occupational therapist at Rotterdam General Hospital has assessed her and recommended a stair-climbing aid. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $5,700. Her current equipment is 15 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 7 weeks. With the right equipment Manal could attend work interviews. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
