Mobility fund: stair-climbing aid for Louis in Boulogne-Billancourt
A stair-climbing aid would give Louis independence - we're $5,950 away.

I live with a spinal cord injury. My occupational therapist at Boulogne-Billancourt General Hospital has assessed me and recommended a stair-climbing aid. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $5,950.
My current equipment is 8 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 12 weeks.
With the right equipment I could join the school sports day. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $5,950 goes:
• First-year servicing plan: $220
• Fitting and training sessions: $230
• stair-climbing aid: $5,500
I hope life is good to you.
- Louis
