Malsha lives with a spinal cord injury. The occupational therapist at the Dehiwala Mobility Clinic has assessed her and recommended a pair of hearing aids. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,600.
Her current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 8 weeks.
With the right equipment Malsha could go to school independently. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.

• pair of hearing aids: $1,500
• Fitting and training sessions: $20
• Delivery and set-up: $30
• First-year servicing plan: $50
