An adapted tricycle would give Leonardo independence - we're $800 away.

Leonardo lives with muscular dystrophy. The occupational therapist at Leeds General Hospital has assessed him and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $800.
His current equipment is 15 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 12 weeks.
With the right equipment Leonardo could go to school independently. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $800 goes:
• Fitting and training sessions: $340
• First-year servicing plan: $340
• Delivery and set-up: $120
