Standing with Ahmad: colon cancer treatment costs

Ahmad was diagnosed with colon cancer in May. The oncology team at Bekasi Cancer Centre has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in July. He will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Ahmad is 45, worked as a hairdresser until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Bekasi Cancer Centre 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $1,750 goes:
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $115
• Scans and lab work: $120
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,350
• Transport to Bekasi Cancer Centre: $165
