A service dog for Mackenzie, a navy veteran in Winston-Salem
Mackenzie served four years in the navy; $4,800 would cover a first month of rent and transport to job interviews.

I served four years in the navy and was discharged in 2021 with chronic tinnitus. I have been waiting fourteen months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a first month of rent and transport to job interviews. The quote I have comes to $4,800.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly.
Where the $4,800 goes:
• Housing deposit and first month: $1,450
• Transport to appointments: $320
• Training provider fees: $3,030
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

So sorry you're going through this. I hope things turn around soon. I'm in accounting myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. God bless.
Sending strength, Mackenzie. Shared it with a few friends. I'll check back for the next update.
sending strength. Hope you get there. My neighbor in Flint donated after I showed her your page. Thinking of Winston-Salem.
