Maverick's school year: uniform, books and a laptop
Maverick won a place at Leeds International School but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.
🇬🇧 England, United Kingdom871 views
Maverick earned a place in Year 10 at Leeds International School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things He needs, including a laptop for the design and technology course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $800, which is more than they have.
Maverick loves design and technology and wants to become a pilot. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
He will take care of everything given and works very hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $800 goes:
• Laptop: $450
• School uniform and shoes: $145
• Textbooks and workbooks: $205
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
