Surgery fund for Ayu: a craniotomy in Jakarta
Ayu needs a craniotomy at Jakarta General Hospital and the family is $1,100 short of the hospital's estimate.

Ayu was diagnosed with gallstones with repeated infections in March. The surgeon at Jakarta General Hospital recommended a craniotomy, and She is scheduled for June. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,400, and after what the government subsidy will pay we're still $1,100 short.
my wife has been in and out of Jakarta General Hospital since March. The doctors say gallstones with repeated infections will get worse without a craniotomy. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,400 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Ayu struggles with daily life and can't drive. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 7 weeks. During that time Ayu won't be able to drive, so the costs keep growing.
