Maverick needs a lift to the San Diego Kidney Centre - can you help one day a week?
A rota of drivers to the San Diego Kidney Centre would keep Maverick on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.

Maverick has been on dialysis for 1 years and until recently drove to the San Diego Kidney Centre alone. After an eyesight problem, Maverick can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 9 km each way.
Maverick is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
