Lotus Park needs a rainwater harvesting system - Salim's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a rainwater harvesting system - we need $350 for materials.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 8 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Lotus Park, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $350.
It will serve about 458 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in May and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $350 goes:
• Materials: $220
• Permits and inspections: $20
• Safety equipment and signage: $45
• Tools hire and delivery: $65
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

So sorry you're going through this. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I hope May is when things finally get easier. Blessings!
