Liliana's early-stage lung cancer treatment fund
4 rounds of treatment are planned at the San Antonio Oncology Institute; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Liliana was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in August. The oncology team at the San Antonio Oncology Institute has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in November. She will be away from work for about 10 weeks.
Liliana is 43, worked as a nurse until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the San Antonio Oncology Institute 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $8,800 goes:
• Transport to the San Antonio Oncology Institute: $830
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $780
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,950
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $5,240
