Liberty Park needs a community fridge - Gabriella's neighborhood project
A community-led a community fridge at Liberty Park that will serve 380 neighbors.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 18 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Liberty Park, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $1,300.
It will serve about 380 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in May and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $1,300 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $180
• Tools hire and delivery: $440
• Materials: $680
