Let's build a youth football pitch together in Thủ Đức
Volunteers in Thủ Đức are raising $500 for a youth football pitch at the Pioneer health centre yard.
🇻🇳 Thủ Đức, Hồ Chí Minh City, Vietnam1,091 views
For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 25 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Pioneer health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $500.
It will serve about 215 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in May and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $500 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $35
• Permits and inspections: $30
• Materials: $435
Thank you so much.

Wishing you the best, Giang. Shared it with a few friends. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Thinking of Thủ Đức
is there anything that isn't money that would help Giang?
Sharing the link is the biggest thing. And if you know anything about safety equipment and signage, advice is welcome too. It helps to be asked.
Praying for you. Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. All the best
sending strength, Giang. Hope this works out for you. Love from Kano
