Let's build a youth football pitch together in Rajkot
A community-led a youth football pitch at the old Baobab bus depot that will serve 483 neighbors.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 29 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Baobab bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $200.
It will serve about 483 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in July and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $200 goes:
• Permits and inspections: $45
• Tools hire and delivery: $75
• Safety equipment and signage: $80
