Standing with Mohan: stomach cancer treatment costs

Mohan was diagnosed with stomach cancer in July. The oncology team at the Pune Oncology Institute has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in September. He will be away from work for about 12 weeks. Mohan is 33, worked as a tailor until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Pune Oncology Institute 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
