Let's build a youth football pitch together in Juiz de Fora
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a youth football pitch - we need $1,350 for materials.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 14 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Cedar vacant lot, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $1,350.
It will serve about 258 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in July and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $1,350 goes:
• Materials: $1,050
• Permits and inspections: $120
• Safety equipment and signage: $55
• Tools hire and delivery: $125
Thank you so much.
- Tiago

Stay strong, Tiago. More neighborhoods should do this. My cousin had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.
Rooting for you, Tiago. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Don't give up!
