Fighting thyroid cancer: help Sara afford treatment in Bari
Sara is facing thyroid cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Sara was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in August. The oncology team at Bari Cancer Centre has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in October. She will be away from work for about 8 weeks.
Sara is 33, worked as a construction supervisor until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Bari Cancer Centre 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
