Help Janet through 12 rounds of treatment for thyroid cancer

Janet was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in November. The oncology team at Nairobi Cancer Centre has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in December. She will be away from work for about 5 weeks. Janet is 42, worked as a primary school teacher until November, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Nairobi Cancer Centre 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
