Let's build a youth football pitch together in Cairo
Volunteers in Cairo are raising $550 for a youth football pitch at Unity Park.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 17 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Unity Park, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $550.
It will serve about 599 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in August and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $550 goes:
• Materials: $450
• Permits and inspections: $40
• Safety equipment and signage: $35
• Tools hire and delivery: $25
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.
