Let's build a solar-powered water pump together in Buenos Aires
A community-led a solar-powered water pump at the Pioneer community hall that will serve 85 neighbors.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a solar-powered water pump. This year a group of 15 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Pioneer community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $750.
It will serve about 85 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in April and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $750 goes:
• Materials: $520
• Permits and inspections: $75
• Safety equipment and signage: $90
• Tools hire and delivery: $65
