Let's build a rainwater harvesting system together in Cardiff
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a rainwater harvesting system - we need $1,750 for materials.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 18 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Unity bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $1,750.
It will serve about 216 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in August and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $1,750 goes:
• Materials: $860
• Permits and inspections: $240
• Safety equipment and signage: $180
• Tools hire and delivery: $470
