Let's build a rainwater harvesting system together in Birmingham
Volunteers in Birmingham are raising $2,350 for a rainwater harvesting system at the Jacaranda community hall.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 10 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Jacaranda community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $2,350.
It will serve about 306 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in June and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $2,350 goes:
• Materials: $1,350
• Permits and inspections: $300
• Safety equipment and signage: $250
• Tools hire and delivery: $450
Every share and every dollar helps.

Stay strong. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Love from Córdoba.
Hope it all works out, Elias. I hope things turn around soon. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Take care
you're not alone. Hope you get there. God bless.
Hope it all works out, Elias. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Blessings
Thinking of you. Hope you get there. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. All the best.
Thinking of you and your family. It takes guts to ask. Well done. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Greetings from Hialeah.
Sending strength, Elias. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did.
