Let's build a community fridge together in Coventry
A community-led a community fridge at the old Jacaranda bus depot that will serve 225 neighbors.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 18 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Jacaranda bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $1,000.
It will serve about 225 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $1,000 goes:
• Tools hire and delivery: $530
• Safety equipment and signage: $165
• Permits and inspections: $305
