For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 25 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Freedom Primary School, but no funding. We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $350. It will serve about 232 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in July and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $350 goes: • Safety equipment and signage: $20 • Tools hire and delivery: $20 • Materials: $310 Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

  • Rooting for you, Sabina. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. God bless
