ACL reconstruction for Mustafa: covering what insurance won't

Mustafa was diagnosed with a herniated spinal disc in December. The surgeon at Zagazig Community Hospital recommended ACL reconstruction, and He is scheduled for March. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,000, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $600 short.
my father has been in and out of Zagazig Community Hospital since December. The doctors say a herniated spinal disc will get worse without ACL reconstruction. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,000 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Mustafa struggles with daily life and can't walk without help. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 3 weeks. During that time Mustafa won't be able to walk without help, so the costs keep growing.
