Legal fees for Tomasz's citizenship application in Liverpool
A citizenship application deadline is approaching and Tomasz can't afford the lawyer.

Tomasz is facing a citizenship application. The hearing is scheduled for September, and the filing fees and the lawyer's retainer come to $3,150. Three legal-aid offices have said their waiting lists are longer than the deadline.
Tomasz has all the paperwork ready, and a caseworker at the Liverpool Community Legal Centre has confirmed that the case is valid.
If the deadline is missed Tomasz could lose the right to stay with the family and the job. The children were born here and this is the only home they know.
The money goes to the immigration attorney's trust account and the court filing office. I'll upload receipts with sensitive details removed.

• Attorney retainer: $2,400
• Court-appointed interpreter and travel: $220

It's all in the list in the story. filing and biometrics fees is the big one at $530, I'll post a receipt when it's paid. Fair thing to want to know.
