A playground for Baobab Park: help our neighbors in Pune
A community-led a playground at Baobab Park that will serve 548 neighbors.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 30 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Baobab Park, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $400.
It will serve about 548 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $400 goes:
• Materials: $280
• Permits and inspections: $45
• Safety equipment and signage: $45
• Tools hire and delivery: $30
