Hitesh was diagnosed with a cleft palate needing repair in May. The surgeon at Nashik Regional Medical Center recommended laparoscopic endometriosis surgery, and He is scheduled for August. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,450, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $1,000 short.
my husband has been in and out of Nashik Regional Medical Center since May. The doctors say a cleft palate needing repair will get worse without laparoscopic endometriosis surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,450 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Hitesh struggles with daily life and can't walk without help. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 5 weeks. During that time Hitesh won't be able to walk without help, so the costs keep growing.
