Landslide in São Paulo: help Hillcrest village rebuild
Neighbors in Hillcrest village are rebuilding after the landslide; every contribution goes to materials and supplies.

The landslide hit Hillcrest village on 9 July. My home was one of 18 damaged, and 3 families are still in temporary shelter at the local school gym.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
We buy supplies locally and in bulk, so the money goes further. Receipts and photos will be posted in updates.
Where the $2,450 goes:
• Roofing sheets and timber: $1,050
• Clean water and purification supplies: $260
• Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $440
• Food parcels for displaced families: $340
• Tools and labor for repairs: $360
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Best of luck, Aparecida. More neighborhoods should do this. Blessings.
Stay strong, Aparecida. Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Thinking of São Paulo.
