Landslide in Bogor: help the Old Town district rebuild
The landslide damaged 76 homes in the Old Town district. We're raising funds for repairs, supplies and temporary shelter.

The landslide hit the Old Town district on 9 September. My home was one of 76 damaged, and 7 families are still in temporary shelter at a borrowed warehouse.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
We buy supplies locally and in bulk, so the money goes further. Receipts and photos will be posted in updates.
Where the $450 goes:
• Clean water and purification supplies: $95
• Roofing sheets and timber: $270
• Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $85
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

hang in there, Dedi. Hope you get there.
everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I'm in logistics myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Love from Birmingham
Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. Wish I lived closer to Metz so I could bring a meal. Love from Incheon
Sending strength, Dedi. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I went through something like this 7 years ago and strangers helped me out. Greetings from Townsville.
