Kristine wants to stay at home - help fund six months of care
Kristine cannot afford the care She needs after worsening Parkinson's disease; we are asking for $650.

I'm caring for my mother, who's 77. After worsening Parkinson's disease Kristine can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Kristine desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 30 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Kristine worked all of her life as a shopkeeper, and raised 3 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for six months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $650 goes:
• Part-time carer (six months): $410
• Medication and prescriptions: $50
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $70
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $120
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
