Kidus wants to stay at home - help fund four months of care
Kidus, 88, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $350 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for me, who's 88. After a heart attack Kidus can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Kidus desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 40 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Kidus worked all of his life as a factory worker, and raised 3 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for four months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $350 goes:
• Part-time carer (four months): $240
• Medication and prescriptions: $40
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $70
