Léo's thyroid cancer treatment fund
10 rounds of treatment are planned at Saskatoon Regional Medical Center; we are asking for help with the costs insurance does not cover.

Léo was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in August. The oncology team at Saskatoon Regional Medical Center has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 10 weeks.
Léo is 53, worked as a taxi driver until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Saskatoon Regional Medical Center 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $2,600 goes:
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $700
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,150
• Scans and lab work: $750
