Kelechi's prostate cancer treatment fund
Kelechi is facing prostate cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Kelechi was diagnosed with prostate cancer in June. The oncology team at Ogbomosho Cancer Centre has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in September. He will be away from work for about 5 weeks.
Kelechi is 50, worked as a primary school teacher until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Ogbomosho Cancer Centre 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $1,950 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,300
• Scans and lab work: $220
• Transport to Ogbomosho Cancer Centre: $75
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $80
• Household costs while unable to work: $275
