A day in the garden: help Howard in Dayton
Garden rescue day in Dayton: bring gloves and a rake.

I'm 76 and I have lived in this house in Dayton for 48 years. After the storm in June, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a recent fall.
The council has told me it will be eight weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Glad we found this place.
