School supplies and a laptop for Sorcha in Cork

Sorcha earned a place in the first year of senior school at Cork Girls' High School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things She needs, including a laptop for the chemistry course, and a uniform. The family has few resources; the list costs $1,150, which is more than they have. Sorcha loves chemistry and wants to become an engineer. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours. She will take care of everything given and works very hard. Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag. Where the $1,150 goes: • Laptop: $720 • Textbooks and workbooks: $240 • School uniform and shoes: $190 With deep gratitude, Donal
