Keep the heating on at Damilola's home in Lagos
Damilola is behind on heating bills after a reduction in hours and needs $150 to avoid a shut-off.

The heating account is 3 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on May unless I pay $150. I have never been late before a reduction in hours.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $15 first, which I don't have.
I live with two young children, and going through the rainy season without heating isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
Where the $150 goes:
• Heating arrears: $75
• Reconnection and late fees: $20
• Down payment on a payment plan: $55
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

how is Damilola doing now?
Stay strong. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Greetings from Santa Fe.
wishing you the best. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. All the best.
