Keep the electricity on at Adewale's home in Port Harcourt
Help Adewale cover an overdue electricity bill so the household stays safe this the rainy season.

The electricity account is 3 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on October unless I pay $100. I have never been late before my partner leaving the household.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $25 first, which I don't have.
I live with two young children, and going through the rainy season without electricity isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
Where the $100 goes:
• Gas arrears: $55
• Reconnection and late fees: $20
• Down payment on a payment plan: $25
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. Don't be hard on yourself for asking.
you're not alone, Adewale. I hope things turn around soon. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Take care
Is there anything that isn't money that would help Adewale?
Thank you. If you're in Port Harcourt I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. It helps to be asked.
Sending love, Adewale. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Thinking of Port Harcourt
